Well done! Bravo! Complex film about relationships. Broadbent-Tony and Rampling-Veronica can be applauded for their excellent portrayals. Isn't it interesting how a significant event, such as a death, can trigger such emotionalism that, decades earlier, one would think would never occur.

Poignant, affecting, feeling-evoking. Superb direction, excellent acting, especially by Jim Broadbent and Charlotte Rampling. Tony Webster evolves like a post-modern Scrooge in an updated "A Christmas Carol." Interesting study of the tricks of memory and nostalgia.
